One day here
Only 2 months left to get back home, In capital of Kenya, Accre.
Today is Monday, a new week started. I woke up at 7 o'clock, 1 hour earlier than normal. There was a breakfast prepared with a ceremony for al the gap year volounteers: i really enjoyed because it had food that I really miss from Uruguay and I also shared experiences with others volounteers. I met Leo, he is from Uruguay ! I couldn't believe that I was going to find an uruguayan there. He is 20, and he teaches english in schools of Accre as volounteer. I arranged with him before ours gap year finishes to share a with his students and mines.
At 11 o'clock I was already at the football field in the center of the town, all the children were waiting for me. Today I thought to them how to possition, how to pass and how to shoot, we finished at 13:30.
After a nap I was ready to visit Dome, another city in Kenya near Accre. I really enjoyed it. I visited museums, monuments and many churches. I didnt had time to see all in the city, so I am sure that Im coming back to Dome again.
I dinned at 6:30, I eated meat with rice. Meat is not that good here, but anyway I like it. Right now it's 7 o'clock and in a moments im going to sleep
Last 6 months
I am here in Kenya now since 6 months, but It doesn't seems like, today I was thinking and it only seemed to be just some weeks. My project is doing really good, I am teaching football to lot of children. When I started I just had 10 boys, but now I can not even count them ! They are really enjoying it, and I think that many children here may have a future in this. I am appreciating a lot of progress in them, when it begun they only used to fight each other, but now they are getting friends and getting closer.
I really like the people I meet on this travel, they are from different cultures so it’s an excellent experience for make friends from all over the world and exchange cultural things.
