My First Day !!!!

Today was my first day in Accre, capital of Kenya. The flight took off at 13 o'clock from Montevideo, all my friends and family were there, it meant a lot to me. I arrived 14:30 to Buenos Aires and my flight to Kenya was supposed to be at 4 o'clock but it was delayed. Finally, one hour later, the plane took off. After a hard flight, at 5 o'clock in the morning I arrived to Accre. On my first impressions, local people was very polite and generous with me even with the bad mood I had because of the jet lag. The hotel is a little far from city's centre but anyway I like it because it has everything I need. I couldn't see much the city because Im and really tired and I can barely write this, anyway I took some photos and Im uploading them next to this post. Tomorrow I will discover the city, and next week I am starting with my volounteering.

Gap Year In Kenya

The made i choose, is to have a gap year in Kenya on a sports project, not just because it's an enjoyable way to spend your gap year, it can have an amazing impact on children for whom sport is one of the only hope they have in their lives. The love of sport is universal; on some level, everyone loves sport, and in some places, it brings people together, helping to build stronger communities and societies. There are plenty of opportunities all over the world for anyone who wants to volunteer on a sports project, the choose I made is teaching football in Accra, the capital of Kenya
